BACKGROUND
Oguaaman Focus Group (OFG) is made up of people of Oguaa decent with Focus on the youth of Cape Coast and its environs. Cape Coast is acknowledged to be the education center of Ghana with the many elite schools at all levels which years gone by saw Cape Coast people to be the most educated in the country.
With global industrialization, Ghana embraced the new technological world and moved away from Cape Coast leaving behind only the schools. The sad situation currently is that the children in Cape Coast are in poor families who are unable to afford the costly education systems; the children are unable to attend the elite schools in Cape Coast.
Oguaaman Focus Group has a mission to go to the basics with Focus on the Youth to help with education. The objective is being demonstrated with OFG’s work with the Cape Coast Reginal Library, providing support both financially and materially for After-School teaching programs for school going children, and the sponsorship of the unemployed youth for Skills Training.

Mission
To promote dignity and hope among the people of Cape Coast and to facilitate and support sustainable and transformational development in Cape Coast, by building partnerships and utilizing all human, natural and financial resources within the metropolis and among Oguaa citizens at home and abroad.
Vision
To see Oguaaman with well-educated citizens thriving in a vibrant economy, clean environment with established social, economic and cultural systems in place for the citizens but also to share with the rest of Ghana and the world.
